Milla Jovovich to star in "Faces in the Crowd"

Milla Jovovich has signed on to star in writer-director Julien Magnat's first English-language directorial debut, a psychological thriller "Faces in the Crowd". Magnat "Bloody Mallory" also wrote the screenplay.

According to Variety, the story is about a woman who is survived an attack by a serial killer. She wakes up in hospital with head injury that leaves her "face-blind." No longer able to recognize faces, she must navigate a world where everyone looks different each time she loses sight of them. All the while the killer is determined to eliminate the only potential eye-witness.

Scott Mednick "Where the Wild Things Are" will be producing alongside Sylvain White "Stomp the Yard", Jean-Charles Levy, Clement Miserez and Kevin DeWalt.

Shooting is scheduled to begin in March of 2010.
