"Avatar" and "Terminator Salvation" star, Sam Worthington has been hired to star in sci-fi feature adaptation of Rick Remender and Greg Tocchini's comicbook "The Last Days of American Crime."

The three-issue miniseries which is set in the midst of a "Clockwork Orange" crime prevention scheme, where the United States government will broadcast a signal that will essentially make anyone impossible to commit crime knowingly, will hit the shelves next month.

Remender wrote the screenplay for the feature version, which Radical Publishing's Barry Levine will produce with Michael Schwartz.
