Director Hideo Nakata ("Ring," "Ring 2," "Death Note: L, change the WorLd") is set to direct Horipro's psychological suspense movie "Inshite Miru," or "The Incite Mill" based on Honobu Yonezawa's 2007 bestselling novel of the same name.
The movie is Horipro's major project to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year.
The story revolves around ten people who respond to a job ads paying 112,000 yen ($1,200) per hour, only to find themselves trapped inside the building behind closed doors and forced to play a "murder game," and one person after another were killed.
So far out of the ten cast members, eight, which are Horipro's top stars, already been announced, and they are Nagisa Katahira, Tatsuya Fujiwara "Death Note", Haruka Ayase "Oppai Volleyball", Aya Hirayama "Backdancers!", Shinji Takeda "Tokyo Rhapsody", Kinya Kitaoji "Peking Man", Tsuyoshi Abe "Hana Yori Dango Final", and Satomi Ishihara "No Longer Human".
The remaining two will be announced soon, one from the Horipro, and another through a nationwide audition.
Nakata is scheduled to begin shooting in March, with theatrical release skedded in the fall.
