Channing Tatum "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and Michael Angarano "The Forbidden Kingdom" are in talks to join Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender and Dennis Quaid in Steven Soderbergh's spy movie "Knockout," which will be martial artist Gina Carano's debut movie.
Tatum will play one of the agents in Carano's spy cell, while Angarano plays a teen who sees Carano in trouble and decides to help, unwittingly ending up as her partner.
Lem Dobbs ("Romancing the Stone," "Dark City") wrote the screenplay, which centers on a female spy (Carano) working for a Blackwater-style security contractor who is betrayed by her one-time confidant and owner of the company.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in February in several locations around the world which includes Spain and Ireland.
