Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender and Dennis Quaid are in talks to join Steven Soderbergh's spy movie "Knockout," which will be martial artist Gina Carano's debut movie.
Lem Dobbs ("Romancing the Stone," "Dark City") wrote the screenplay which centers on a female spy (Carano) working for a Blackwater-style security contractor who is betrayed by her one-time confidant and owner of the company (McGregor). She then teams up with a British agent (Fassbender) and an American executive (Douglas) of McGregor’s company who works with her to take down the company.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in February in several locations around the world.
