Winona Ryder, who is currently filming "When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story" for CBS, is in negotiations to join Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis in Darren Aronofsky's supernatural thriller "Black Swan."
The movie which set in the world of the New York Ballet, revolves around Nina, a talented ballerina (Portman) and her rival Lilly (Kunis) who are tangled in a competitive showdown. Nina is not sure if the rival is real or a figment of her imagination. Ryder will play Beth, an aging ballerina who is coming to the end of her career.
Aronofsky will be directing from the script re-written by Mark Heyman, from John McLaughlin's original script.
Brian Oliver of Cross Creek is producing alongside Scott Franklin of Protozoa and, Arnold Messer and Mike Medavoy of Phoenix Pictures.
