Swedish director Tomas Alfredson, best known for vampire film "Let the Right One In" is set to direct "The Danish Girl".
It is a true-life sex change drama starring Nicole Kidman. Kidman is to play Danish painter Einar Wegener/Lili Elbe, who became the first person to go through a sex-change operation to become a woman in 1931.
Charlize Theron who was previously attached to play Wegener's wife, has left the project.
After this movie, Alfredson will be directing "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy", an adaptation of John le Carré's 1974 novel.
This should be an interesting movie to watch; how the life of a normal married couple changes when the husband decides to have a sex-change operation! Though, a little disappointment that Charlize Theron dropped out of the movie, hopefully they'll find another excellent actress as replacement.
