John Hurt ("Alien," "Harry Potter franchise," "Hellboy, Hellboy 2") and Isabel Lucas ("Home and Away tv series," "Daybreakers") have joined Stephen Dorff, Kellan Lutz, Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto in the Greek mythology epic.

Hurt will star as the earthly manifestation of Zeus, who acts as Theseus' mentor. Lucas will play Athena, the daughter of Zeus. Henry Cavill stars as Theseus; Stephen Dorff is Stavros, the master thief; Kellan Lutz plays Poseidon; Mickey Rourke is King Hyperion; Freida Pinto plays Phaedra, an oracle priestess.

Christian Gudegast wrote the screenplay, which Tarsem Singh will direct.

Hollywood Gang Productions' Gianni Nunnari will produce alongside Atmosphere Entertainment's Mark Canton and Relativity's Ryan Kavanaugh. Executive producing are Relativity's Tucker Tooley and Hollywood Gangs'Craig Flores. Universal will handle distribution.
