Bill Condon's in talks to direct the "Twilight" saga finale

Director Bill Condon, who directed the multiple awards winning, including two Oscars, musical feature "Dreamgirls," is in negotiation with Summit Entertainment to direct "Breaking Dawn," the likely two parter finale of the "Twilight" saga.

Screenwrter Melissa Rosenberg, who adapted the first three of the "Twilight" franchise, will again adapt from the final novel of Stephenie Meyer's four-book vampire series, which marks the closing chapter in the love story of vampire Edward and human Bella.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are expected to reprise their role as Edward and Bella.

Catherine Hardwicke directed "Twilight," while Chris Weitz directed "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." The upcoming "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" was directed by David Slade.
