Tim Burton and Bekmambetov to produce "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter"

Following their recent collaboration on the animated feature "9," Tim Burton "Alice in Wonderland" and Timur Bekmambetov "Wanted" are teaming up again to produce the feature adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's novel "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter." Jim Lemley "9" will also produce.

Grahame-Smith, who also wrote "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" novel, will write the screenplay for the fictional Lincoln vs Vampire feature, which centers on the 16th U.S. president Abraham Lincoln who is also an ax-throwing, highly trained vampire assassin, secretly battling vampires, which began with his mother's murder during his childhood.
