Ja Rule and Adrienne Bailon to lead in "I'm in Love with a Church Girl"

Ja Rule ("The Fast and the Furious," "Don't Fade Away") and Adrienne Bailon "The Cheetah Girls" have been cast in the leading role in Reverence Gospel Media's "I'm in Love with a Church Girl."

Movie is faith-based and adapted from the true story of Galley Molina, head of Reverence.

Steve Race "The Beach House" will direct from Galley's script, which is about a retired high level drug trafficker who is now legitimate but still loyal to his circle of friends and former colleagues. When he meets the girl of his dreams, he's faced with the decision of holding on to the old ways of his past or letting go.

Shooting is scheduled to begin May 10 in San Jose, Ca.
