Critically acclaimed video game director Keith Arem, who directed the hugely successful "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" video game, is set to make his feature directorial debut with action thriller "Frost Road."

Arem also wrote the movie script, which is about a young man who wakes up from a car accident and finds himself to be one of few survivors in the aftermath of a mysterious outbreak that's struck a small coast town on the East Coast. When he discovers that he is somehow immune to the contagion, he tries to save the remaining survivors before it is too late and at the same time he also have to struggle to prevent the deadly wave from spreading to other parts of the world.

Cary Brokaw "The Resident" will produce through his Avenue Pictures banner with Solipsist Films' Steven L'Heureux and Arem's PCB Productions.

Arem was quoted as saying, "I'm extremely thrilled to have the opportunity to bring the skills I've honed in the game industry to the big screen" on "Frost Road." "There's an incredible talent pool currently working in the game industry, and I hope that the success of 'Frost Road' will give other creators the chance to show what they can do on a wider canvas."
