Jeremy Piven and Kate Walsh to star in "Waska"

Jeremy Piven "Entourage - HBO series" and Kate Walsh ("Grey's Anatomy," "Private Practice" ABC drama series) have joined the indie drama "Waska," to star alongside Thomas Dekker, Lynn Collins, Mira Sorvino, Elizabeth McGovern and Joseph Morgan. Director Gaby Dellal "On a Clear Day" will direct.

Catherine Trieschmann wrote the script based on Leslie Schwartz's novel "Angels Crest," which centers on Ethan Denton, a young father who loses his three year old son, Nate, throwing the community into disarray at the time of Waska (the first snowfall of the year, which is magical but often treacherous).

Process Film's Tim Perell and Shirley Vercruysse are producing the movie, which recently started shooting in Calgary.
